My name’s Margaret and I’m here to show you just how ridiculous the world of science can get sometimes. I have a PhD in chemistry with a focus on NMR spectroscopy. Which happens to be an excellent example of silliness with the field’s penchant for ridiculous acronyms. But it goes far beyond that. When I was doing literature searches for my thesis, I kept noticing how ridiculous things would get underneath the veneer of jargon and diagrams. So I’ve decided that side of science really needs to be shared with the world.
I’m also Dragon Owl for a group of lively Brownies, so I’ve started sharing STEM based meeting ideas for the Key to STEM and beyond. All of those can be found in the Guiding category.
